New Video & Single: Dressed Up

Dressed Up is the new solo side-project of Pushmi-Pullyu’s John Praw. He creates crunchy lo-fi sounds within a digital environment. This single marks the first official release by the project and features a remix by Brain Grimmer (of Lovely Socialite, Brothers Grimm), as well as a B-side titled Nobody But Batman. Watch the official music video below.

Catch the live debut of Dressed Up this Thursday, March 8th at the Dragonfly Lounge!

Watch: Lovely Socialite at BOOKLESS

Over the weekend, Mine All Mine bands Pushmi-Pullyu and Lovely Socialite Mrs. Thomas W. Phipps participated in BOOKLESS, an art exhibit/event featuring work by over 100 Wisconsin artists.  Check live footage of Lovely Socialite at the Project Lodge stage.  The event pre-sold over 600 tickets, and there were even more people who bought tickets at the door.

As you may know, we’ve recently begun working closely with Madison’s newest venue, the Dragonfly Lounge.  Located below the beautiful Bellini Italian Restaurant (401 E. Washington), Dragonfly has been a small space for private events since Bellini was converted from a church (built in 1897) into one of Madison’s finest Italian restaurants.  Now, the space serves as an intimate venue, and Mine All Mine has partnered with Dragonfly to fill the space.  So far, our winter series has shown that Madison is more than ready to support a new venue with friendly faces.

Read on below for videos and photos from our launch party (Pioneer, Pushmi-Pullyu, Ugly Brothers and Lovely Socialite), as well as live audio featured on WORT 89.9FM (Cap Alan, Golden Donna and Lovely Socialite).  At the end, grab some info on booking with Mine All Mine at the Dragonfly Lounge, as well as our upcoming shows (see the sidebar to the right). Buzz: Mine All Mine Records Sits Down With Madison’s Isthmus

Last week, Corey and I had the pleasure of sitting down with freelance writer Jessica Steinhoff.  The result is this wonderful write-up in Madison’s own Isthmus.  Copies of the (free) paper hit newsstands on Thursday, and you can now read it at the Isthmus’ website, the Daily Page.

There are also plugs for some of our artists – Given Willingly, Electric Sea Spider, Wild Dogs In Winter.

Check it out here.  We’re extremely grateful for this superbly flattering piece, and we’d love to hear what you think.
