The arrival of Ourmegadawn has been a long time coming. Despite frequent appearances in Riverwest and the general Milwaukee area, Ourmegadawn is the first proper album since Animals In Human Attire’s 2011 self-titled outing.

Members of the band spread their talents amongst various local acts (including Temple, Myles Coyne & the Rusty Nickel Band, The Zelda Routine, and others), but this specific arrangement of BREADKING frequenters drives a particular sound with vocals by Jack Tell steering the ensemble.

Beyond all else, Ourmegadawn is fun. It’s eight tracks of head-bobbing, folk-informed indie rock, and like all things BREADKING, Animals In Human Attire takes a punk approach to the whole album.

The Frequency // $5 // 18+

Softly, Dear (EAU CLAIRE)
William Z. Villain (MADISON)
Twin Window (MADISON)
Marai Binagi (MADISON)

Tonight is an exciting show for us.  For the first time, we’re bringing together Eau Claire’s Softly, Dear and Madison’s own William Z. Villain.  Both acts had debut releases on Mine All Mine this past year, and it’s great to have them under the same roof.

William Z. Villain first visited us in early July with their self-titled EP featuring “skilled / clinically insane rock” recorded in Bill Villain’s den.  You can stream or download that release here.  Bill Villain also made his first ambient effort on the COLIAS 1 double CD release.

One month later saw the debut release of Softly, Dear’s Portico EP.  Originally out on self-released CD-r, we put out the limited run tape, including a bonus Phobos remix of one of our personal favorites, Melange.  You can stream or download Portico here, or snag one of the limited remaining copies of the cassette here.

Rounding out the night are two other Madison acts – Twin Window and Marai Binagi.  You can catch two Twin Window tunes on their SoundCloud.  As for Marai Binagi, you’ll have to be surprised!

For samples of each of these acts, check out their pages above, or visit the link below.

Poll: What’s your favorite audio format?

Assuming you’ve all liked us on facebook (hint, hint), take a moment to answer our poll.  As we celebrate turning 5 years old (more on that soon), it’s interesting to see what people value in terms of how they listen to music.  If you have a few spare seconds, pick your favorite/preferred audio format, and leave a comment on why you made that decision.

Perhaps it could influence future choices here at Mine All Mine…  Find the poll here, or click that giant, obvious sign above.  For those of you who do not have facebook, feel free to answer below.
