Softly, Dear Joins Mine All Mine Records for “Portico” Cassette Release

Softly, Dear

Mine All Mine Records is proud to welcome Eau Claire band Softly, Dear to the family!  The band is made up of Tyler Hart, Josh Frederick, Alex Adkinson, Ben Possi and Addie Strei, and will be joining Mine All Mine to release the limited edition cassette tape version of their debut EP, Portico.  [Read on for more details.]

Roughly a week before the band self-released Portico on limited edition CD-R and digital download, we began talks to bring the EP to tape (along with bonus material TBA).  As of a few days ago, the band has officially signed on for the release.  You can expect Portico on limited edition cassette + download code coming late July / early August.

I was introduced to the Portico EP by band member Alex Adkinson, who had initially submitted solo material to Mine All Mine [submissions@mamrecords.com].  While that partnership did not work out (totally my fault), the timing to partner on a special release of Portico was perfect.  We’re incredibly excited to have Softly, Dear join our growing family of artists as the first Mine All Mine representation in Eau Claire.

After a successful release show at Eau Claire’s Volume One Gallery, the band is excited to bring Portico to cassette.

For now, you can hear Portico in its entirety on Softly, Dear’s bandcamp.  Look for more information on the Portico cassette, including release date and pre-order information, in the very near future.
