This week’s new release is the long-awaited EP by Spanish artist Fira Fem, titled Mascot Humans Disco. If you like any of the stuff you’ve heard on this label before, you’ve got to check this release out. Wonderful tunes that sound like a completely new take on the sort of thing done by bands like The Books and Tortoise.
Buzz: Lighttown Closure Reviewed. Again.
Several months ago, we released Fourteen Twentysix’s awesome new album, which you can get for free here. Even after half a year, the reviews continue to pour in as the band works on its next album as a full band.
New Release: Given Willingly’s “Confined, Yet We Grow”
Given Willingly is a long-time mam!records member and supporter. Today, we are proud to bring you his brand new full-length album. Given Willingly creates music that somehow combines the worlds of audio collage art with vocals that often feel strongly rooted in punk ethics. Check it out!

New Release: el-tin fun’s “sunburned skeptics”
This week’s new release is another welcome addition to the el-tin fun cannon. Check out all nine new recordings in this free release, and if you enjoy it, buy it from the artists themselves. I think this album really captures the experience you get seeing them live – maybe with a few extra frills, of course. My favorite track is by far “helicopter freeekouts.”
Show: Tonight At The Argus
Tonight, mamrecords.com presents another show in Madison, Wisconsin. If you’re 21 and available, come on over to The Argus tonight for a FREE show featuring The Weather Duo, Nasty Thom & The Dirty Husbands, and Pushmi-Pullyu.
Click here for information on the show, as discussed by Mr. Tom Teslik of The Dirty Husbands.
New Release: Fambly Fun! – The Machine Album Preview
After hours of upload problems, here it is at last, the new release for this week. check out Fambly Fun!’s album preview in all its experimental hip-hop glory! This release marks the return of mam!records (online at least – we’ve been very busy in the city of Madison).
This release is offered for ONE WEEK ONLY, so grab it while you can. As you may notice, the Bandcamp download is set to “name your own price” mode. This is because Bandcamp now charges its users – that’s right; ad-free streaming for you means artists must pay cash money – so all payments we receive will go toward keeping the free downloads up.

Fear not, fans of The Enright House! It seems Mark has been busy lately. Today, we found a nice little bit of goodness on The Enright House’s website. Call it a redo, a rehash, a response or whatever, The Enright House is currently giving away a new version of Distance, a song that can be found on this release here.
