Supreme Happiness Forever – originally self-released as a digital-only album – is what Troy Schafer does best. It combines his talent for creating unique and compelling experimental violin works with his ability to create sweeping electronic zone-out landscapes. Troy Schafer is an eclectic if sometimes elusive artist and musician, and we are honored to release Supreme Happiness Forever.
Redolent Spires is a full-length album in two parts by Madison-based experimental improvisors, composers and brothers, AJ and BC Grimm. The first part is a six-movement suite for cello and guitar, composed and performed as a live score for THE LIVES OF CUT FLOWERS, which premiered May 2011 at the Indy Fringe Theater by paperStrangers Dance/Theater co. The second part is comprised of nine improvisations in four different tunings for guitar and guqin.

For the first time in almost two years, el-tin fun is back on Mine All Mine with the finest example of his brand of lo-fi bedroom rock. It’s fuzzy, raw, and sometimes just a bit surfy.
Recorded periodically from September 2011 to May 2012 at Glass on Glass in Madison, WI. Drums on 1, 2, 3 and 11 recorded in Treefort’s basement. Rock and roll bass recorded by Nathan in his home studio.
Firecracker is a new single by pop songwriter Tom Teslik. It features two tracks from an upcoming EP to feature songs written for drum machine, bass and vocals. Expect the EP out later this summer.

National Beekeepers Society
Pawn Shop Etiquette (2008, Self-Released) $10
“Pawn Shop Etiquette” is the 2nd full-length album from National Beekeepers Society, out of Madison, WI. Released in 2008, this album serves as additional reading for fans of Icarus Himself, which is where you’ll find Nick Whetro and Karl Christenson these days.
In this new EP, John Praw explores change and found-sound to create pieces that more resemble audio collages and case studies in sonic tension. It’s fuzzy, ambient, and sometimes rhythmic.
The pinnacle interest of the album, however, is Palmer’s wailing drunken slur; equal parts Gerard Way, Julian Casablancas, and Dolly Parton.
