Umbrella CD Release & Festival Wrap-up

Last night was the culmination of months of work from numerous organizations (and one very dedicated Lindsey Ballo).  It was the Umbrella Music Festival, and despite the unfortunately-timed winter weather, we are proud to announce that it was a success.  With the help of our many partners, we raised over $200 for SlaveFree Madison.

Above, you can see the album artwork created by Joe Ludwig (look for an interview with Joe in the future).  This was a limited-edition CD we sold at the event to raise money.  The release is not available for download (but we may have a few extra copies for sale in the new Mine All Mine Records store soon).

Blog: The Enright House Takes Another Stab At Distance

Fear not, fans of The Enright House!  It seems Mark has been busy lately.  Two days ago, we posted about his excellent track featured in the Beginning, Middle & End trailer (as well as the full film, I believe).  Today, we found a nice little bit of goodness on The Enright House’s website.  Call it a redo, a rehash, a response or whatever, The Enright House is currently giving away a new version of Distance, a song that can be found on this release here.

Blog: We’ll be back next week, that’s for damn sure.

Tomorrow, my replacement equipment is FINALLY scheduled to arrive.  It took the company 10 days to process and 9 days to ship due to Memorial Day weekend.  It *should* be here tomorrow.

That means you can expect regular releases to continue next week, and we’re going to hit you hard.  Lots of local work has been going on with the label.  We continue to work on our presence in Madison, our home-town.  But now, there’s even more work to be done.

I thank you all for sticking through this rough patch.  This label will not die so easily.

~John

P.S.  If you’re in Madison tomorrow night, head over to the Argus (by the capital loop) for a free show this label is putting on, featuring Fambly Fun!, Ben Knollenberg and Fishhooks.
